Seit ich 1988 "Gorillas im Nebel" im Kino sah, gehört meine ganze Liebe dem Schutz und der Erforschung der Berggorillas.
Dafür unterstütze ich Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund so gut ich kann!
Diese Besonderen Tiere dürfen nicht aussterben! Und dazu gehört auch die Hilfe für die Menschen, die in diesen Gegenden Leben. Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund hilft auch da. Und deshalb ist es für mich die Institution, denen ich helfen möchte.

Alone in the Forest: The Hidden Lives of Solitary Silverbacks!
Even though gorillas are highly social animals, silverbacks often live on their own. Why is solitary living so common in a male gorilla's life?
For three of the four types of gorillas, only one adult male is present: the dominant silverback. This structure naturally prompts younger males to disperse and attempt to establish their own group by attracting females from other families.

This month, we are honoring a living legend and conservation hero: Sir David Attenborough.
On May 8, Sir David Attenborough turned 100 years old. Through the years, he made it possible for international audiences to experience wildlife on a deeply personal level, introducing formerly hidden species to the human world, such as the then little-known mountain gorillas. We are so thankful for the influence and vitally important work of Sir David and to have had the amazing opportunity to work with him on the new Netflix film, A Gorilla Story: Told by David Attenborough. The worldwide Netflix release of A Gorilla Story showed the dramatic events that transpired in the Pablo group, but… how are the gorillas doing now?
A Gorilla Story pulled fans, new and old, into the Pablo family, telling the epic, very real tale of gorilla life. Since the documentary concluded filming two years ago, many large, extraordinary familial changes have occurred, shifting the landscape of the Pablo group even more.
