Fotografie

Visiting the Josephine Sculpture Park was a great way to break up the road trip and spend a few hours walking through beautiful scenery while admiring the diverse artworks.
I was completely alone the entire time. There wasn't another visitor in sight.
I highly recommend a visit!
"Josephine Sculpture Park (JSP) is FREE and open every day from dawn until dusk. JSP exhibits 70+ artworks by artists from across the world, across 40-acres of reclaimed farmland, with something new to see every season. Artists on exhibition include Chakaia Boker, Boaz Vaadia, Peyton Scott Russell, Heather Hart, Celine Browning, Wayne Potratz, Jack Gron, Andrew Marsh among many more."
I've also added some photos from Lawrenceburg, as it was practically part of this trip.

Photographed during my road trip through Kentucky in 2024.
Frankfort is the capital of Kentucky, and you should definitely visit the Capitol and the historic district.
I like Frankfort and would love to visit it again.

Photographed during my second visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart.
A visit there is highly recommended. A fantastic building and a wonderful journey through different eras. One of the best museums I know.

The "Staufer Loop Trail" between Göppingen and Wäschenbeuren impressively connects the historic Staufer sites of the Hohenstaufen ruins and Wäschenbeuren Castle. Along the way, you'll be repeatedly surprised by breathtaking views, mystical river and forest valleys, and traces of the Staufer era.
It is one of the most beautiful, interesting and varied hikes near my hometown.
