Magnolia blossom in spring 2026

Photographed, as every year, in the Wilhelma Botanical Garden in Stuttgart.

For me, the magnolias are the sign of coming spring. And every year I look forward to it.

This time I tried to manage with just my new Rollei 85mm F1.8. It wasn't easy and takes practice. But the bokeh and the handling were perfect! I already love my new lens. And of course, the magnolias!

Durch Anklicken der richtigen Bildgröße erscheint in einem neuen Fenster das Foto.
Dann rechte Maustaste und "Bild als Hintergrundbild einrichten" auswählen.
Fertig! Viel Spaß mit dem Wallpaper mit Kalender!

Oder, je nach Browser, einfach das Bild auf dem Desktop speichern, dann re. Maustaste und "als Desktophintergrund auswählen" anklicken.

By clicking on the correct image size, the photo appears in a new window.
Then right click and select "set picture as wallpaper".
Finished! Enjoy the wallpaper with calendar!

Or, depending on your browser, simply save the image on the desktop, then Right-click and click "set as desktop background".
