The demo on Labor Day is a tradition! As a trade unionist and Democrat, attending is a must for me.
Unfortunately, the machinations of the police are getting worse from year to year. This time, the vast majority of police officers were so overwhelmed by a handful of troublemakers that they stopped the march several times, angering countless peaceful participants. Pure provocation!
Nevertheless, the day was very nice and I met a lot of old companions.

Die Demo am Tag der Arbeit ist Tradition! Als Gewerkschafter und Demokrat ist die Teilnahme für mich ein Muss.
Doch leider werden die Machenschaften der Polizei von Jahr zu Jahr schlimmer. Diesmal war die enorme Überzahl der Polizisten mit einer Handvoll Störer so überfordert, dass sie mehrfach den Demozug anhielten und damit unzählige friedliche Teilnehmer verärgerten. Pure Provokation!
Trotzdem war der Tag sehr schön und ich traf jede Menge alte Weggefährten.
